Laptop fan is blocked by dust

If a laptop turns of regularly, let say after 5 minutes and the fan makes noise by running at faster speed, it is more likely that the fan is blocked by dust.

This is a common issue for older laptops or if the laptop is placed on sofa, pillow and beds on daily bases. The  blocked fan can not cool down the generated heat and internal parts may damage. The best sign for having a dusty fan is that the base of laptop gets hot and fan works fast. Using air pump can add to the problem as it pushes dust more into the fan. To resolve this issue, take your laptop to a professional to remove the fan and clean it properly. In most cases Thermal is needed for the processor.

At South-PC, we provide laptop fan cleaning service within a day or two and your laptop will work as good as it can.
