BT Email Setting

To setup BT email on Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Apple Mail, Windows Mail use the following settings:

BT IMAP Settings (Recommended):

  • User Name: @btinternet or @btopenworld.com
  • Password: your email login password
  • Incoming Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com
  • Incoming Port: 993
  • Incoming SSL: Yes
  • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com
  • Outgoing Port: 465
  • Outgoing SSL: Yes
  • Outgoing Authentication: Plain

BT POP3 Settings:

  • User Name: @btinternet or @btopenworld.com
  • Password: your email login password
  • Incoming Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com
  • Incoming Port: 995
  • Incoming SSL: Yes
  • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com
  • Outgoing Port: 465
